At GYSBI, safety doesn’t end when the workday does; it extends to our homes and families.

As part of our continued commitment to fire safety, we’ve distributed smoke detectors to all employees to support early fire detection and encourage safer living environments.

Each employee received one (1) smoke detector, with a reminder to assess their household needs and consider installing additional units, ideally one in every room, for comprehensive coverage.

This proactive initiative reinforces our strong safety culture and commitment to preparedness, while also honouring the late Keith Pierce, our former Chief Operating Officer, whose support helped bring this project to life.
