Over the weekend, our team had the opportunity to join ExxonMobil Guyana and some of its prime contractors in New Amsterdam, Berbice, for a regional Engagement Forum.

The event brought together key stakeholders, including representatives from the Chambers of Commerce, government agencies, and the private sector, for engaging discussions on the expanding opportunities within Guyana’s oil and gas industry. Focus areas included vendor engagement, recruitment prospects, and initiatives designed to support internships and capacity-building efforts.

Some of the participating companies included Baker Hughes, Halliburton, MODEC, Noble Drilling, SBM Offshore, Saipem, Stena Drilling and TechnipFMC.
